But, it DOES WORK. Believe me, it does!!!
Last year my hair went through so many different looks and color processes that this year I decided to try something less harsh.
As you all know my hair is naturally super dark and for the summer I wanted to go light to have that nice summer look. Well bleaching my hair was not going to be an option. I did not want my ends to break off considering I had already bleached them when I did my Ombre. So that was a no go.
Sooooo, last week as I was walking through Wally World (Walmart) I saw this
John Frieda Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray. I had seen this product many, many times before just never considered picking it up and buying, but I said oh what the heck. I've got nothing to lose. So I went ahead bought it and tried it that same day. First day, I was like mmmmm I'm not sure about this but it's only day one. By the second day I did start to notice my hair getting lighter. Crazy Right! Of course it wasn't anything drastic because my hair is so dark, but it was lightening. I have been using this now for a week and my hair has lightened a lot. Why it doesn't come up on photos, I have no idea but I'm not kidding you I see a good difference.
On the actual bottle it says you'll see difference in three days. I sure noticed a difference. Again, this is a slow process so don't think you're going to go from dark to blonde in the first few uses. The more heat you use the more it will lighten.
So would I recommend this product?
Definitely! It's not harsh on your hair. It actually works. And I'm pretty satisfied so far.
