Mid to High-end Products:
- MAC Prep+Prime Skin - we all know MAC has great products and this here is a must. It feels great on the skin. The silicones in it helps reduce the redness in your skin and is great oil control.
- Tarte Clean Slate - Tarte has two in this category but I personally like the purple "Tarte Clean Slate 12-hr Perfecting Primer" does a great job evening the skin, hiding the pores. So when you apply your makeup it's smooth and looks like bare skin.
- Make Up Forever HD - this on here is a great one because not only does it hide away pores, it also comes in a variety of seven different tones to hide any flaw your skin my have, like redness, dark tones, and any other imperfections.
Drugstore Products:
- L'Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base - it's light weight, smooths skin and reduces redness. Does the trick just like it says
- Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer - goes on smooth, hides pores, and long lasting
- E.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer - does the job. Easy to apply, light weight and smooths skin nicely. Only con is that the pump doesn't work well.
So there you go just a few of my favorite Makeup Primers. Hope this helps you out. If you have tried any and would like to rate, leave a comment on what you think of these products I would love to read about them. Enjoy Loves XoXo!
I am loving how you post highend and drugstore products for those poor months we all might have lol.
ReplyDeleteWe all have those months. But I do have to say there's great drug store products. Not all high-end makeup is the best. There's some out there that do nothing for you, so why spend the money.
DeleteI agree I know I have those months I really want to try
ReplyDeleteThe tarte one I don't own a highend one from all three which
One do you recommend me buying. I really do want to invest in one.
What's your skin like? Any redness, oily, dark circles?
ReplyDeleteIf you like to use concealers and full coverage makeup I'd go with either one of the first two. If you like to use lighter foundations then go with the third that way your primer can do most of the coverage for you. Go to Sephora (if there's one close to you) and have one of the nice ladies help you choose the right Make Up Forever HD Primer that's best for your skin.
I miss having a Sephora close to me. I have nothing where I live now :( but oh we'll. good thing for online shopping. Only bad thing is I can try the product before I buy.
Well the only redness I have is around my nostrils very little same for dark circles very faint I do have oily skin.
ReplyDeleteI use Studio Secrets...it has been the best at reducing my redness...now I just need to find a match to my skin that won't break me out.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried that one. Might have to check it out
